Job Description

I am recruiting for a Strategy Manager for an organisation that sits between the public and private sector. You will:

  1. Ensure that strategic plans are aligned with the company's long-term goals and are effectively executed across the organisation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects, analyse market trends and provide insights that inform decision-making at the highest level.
  3. Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives across the organisation, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives.
  4. Track the progress of strategic initiatives and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify potential risks and deviations from the strategy and work with teams to develop mitigation plans.
  5. Conduct ongoing analysis of industry trends, market conditions and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions. Provide actionable insights to senior management.
  6. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the strategic direction, gather feedback and ensure alignment and buy-in for strategic initiatives.
  7. Continuously evaluate and refine strategic processes and frameworks to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of strategy development and execution.
The Successful Applicant

You will have:

  1. 5+ years experience in strategy development, public policy, management consulting or a related field with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing strategic projects.
  2. Understanding of management frameworks.
  3. Experience with project management.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.
  5. Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to create and analyse financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  7. Team oriented with a strong ability to build relationships and work effectively with others.
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Report writing skills.

£80,000 - £100,000 PA DOE plus bonus and excellent benefits.
