This is a home-based role covering the Bath, Bristol, Taunton area.
Salary up to £39,000 plus car allowance + benefits
We are seeking a dedicated and Qualified Supervising Social Worker to join a leading Independent Fostering Agency. This is a permanent, home-based position that provides flexibility and autonomy while serving the Bath, Bristol, and Taunton region. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality supervision and support to a caseload of foster carers.
- Conduct assessments and initial visits for new fostering applicants, with some assessments already in progress.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fostering regulations and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months of social work experience in the UK.
- Education: Relevant Social Work Qualification.
- Registration: Current registration with Social Work England (or Social Care Wales but would need to register with SWE before commencing role).
- Background Checks & references: Subject to an enhanced DBS and reference checks undertaken by end employer should you be successful
- Driving: Full driving license and access to a car.
