Systems Engineer - SatCom - Remote

WA Consultants have a requirement for a senior Systems Engineer/SatCom to work on a remote based contract for a defence company.

Documented experience within the satellite communications area.

Previous work experience/Satellite communication:

• Worked at a space company and set requirements for products that transmit to satellite.
• Microwave transmitter and receiver.
• Antennas on ground stations and on satellites.
• Propagation of radio waves in the atmosphere, including attenuation and polarization changes.
• Noise contributions from receivers and the atmosphere.
• Requirements on the signal-to-noise ratio.
• Satellite orbits.
• The international regulatory framework governing satellite links.
• International customer contacts
• Link budget
• Satellite modem

This contract will run outside of IR35.
