Start : January
Rate of pay : £110-150 or paid to scale
Location : Bristol, BS35
Contracts : Full-Time Mat Cover

Are you a passionateand creative art educator ready to inspire young minds with your love for artand design? We are looking for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team. Expertise in cross departmental subject specialisms (DT, Textiles Photography,Media) is a plus, however our focus is on finding teachers with a deepappreciation for the arts and a commitment to nurturing students' creativetalents. We are collaborating with this school, dedicated to providing top-qualityeducation, fostering creativity, and promoting student development in asupportive and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver interactive art classes that promote creative expression and discovery.
  • Create a supportive atmosphere that nurtures and aids students.
  • Assess student work and off targeted advice to advance competency, skills and understanding
  • Apply multimedia and cross-departmental expertise to enrich the art program.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for art and a deep understanding of artistic techniques and principles.
  • Knowledge in photography or Design and Technology (DT) would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
