We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our team on a long-term supply contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of Biology.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons to students in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level, preferably across KS3 to KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Biology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The ideal start date will be after February half-term 2025 and the duration of the position is expected to be until at least June.
