Technical Co-Founder (m/f/d) at AI Marketing Automation Start-Up

We're looking for a Technical Co-Founder. Glorya provides AI-enabled marketing automation services for SMBs in Germany.

About Us

We are an AI startup in marketing, helping SMBs become more visible through AI-powered products that reduce costs for running highly relevant ads. Basically, it's an AI-based replacement for a traditional marketing agency. We started the company just a few months ago, launched an MVP, and onboarded the first paying customers. The company is profitable and fast-growing.

Tasks

As Technical Co-Founder, you will lead software development, work closely with the founder and investors, develop AI-based products, and recruit the tech team. The role offers high responsibility and significant equity.

• Development of AI-powered products
• Integration, training, and optimization of AI/LLM models
• Use of low-code platforms like Retool, Airtable, and Make
• Complex process automation
• Building robust and scalable APIs
• Continuous improvement of backend and frontend architecture and performance
• Recruiting an AAA tech team
• Co-developing the product roadmap with your co-founder

Requirements

You will be responsible for crafting a world-class product.

• 3-5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer with database management, API development, and Git experience
• Experience with no-code/low-code platforms and AI model optimization
• Experience in start-ups in a technical role, either having started a company or worked in a fast-paced startup environment
• Highly driven and resilient, with a solution-oriented mindset
• A thirst for learning and personal growth; open to feedback and collaboration
• Proficient in German and English - both are must-haves as you'll be working closely with German-speaking SMB owners and managing an international tech team
• High degree of commitment expected in a co-founder role within a fast-paced startup environment, while supporting a healthy work-life balance and prioritizing productivity over long hours

This role is based in our Berlin Mitte office (Hackescher Markt), full-time, as we believe in fostering collaboration and innovation through face-to-face interactions.

The hiring process includes an initial screening call, a technical interview, and an in-office case study with the founder and one of the investors, typically completed within two weeks.
