Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product UX Designer to join our product team. This role will be pivotal in shaping the user experience of our fintech products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interaction design, proficiency in Figma, and a deep understanding of human perception and cognition. You will collaborate closely with our lead designer on the marketing team to balance brand aesthetic design with functional and user-centric design.

Key Responsibilities:

Interaction Design: Create intuitive, user-centred designs for our products, focusing on how users interact with the interface.

User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights on user behaviour and preferences.

Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and the marketing design team to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.

User Flows and Wireframes: Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that illustrate the user experience.

Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability tests, analyse results, and iterate designs based on user feedback.

Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all products.

Human-Centred Design: Apply principles of human perception and cognition to design interfaces that are easy to use and understand.

Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and research findings to stakeholders, clearly articulating design decisions and the rationale behind them.

?Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX design, particularly in interaction design and usability.

Tools: Proficient in Figma and other relevant design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD).

Research Skills: Strong skills in user research, including conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interaction design and user-centred design processes.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and advocate for design solutions effectively.

Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Education: Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
