Redstone Commodity Search is partnering with a prominent global metals and mining company to recruit a Vice President of Logistics. This pivotal role, based in Istanbul, Turkey, will spearhead the optimisation of the company's international supply chain operations. Tasked with shaping a robust, efficient, and fully compliant logistics framework, the VP will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a robust logistics strategy that supports global operations, ensuring seamless scalability and efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Manage and optimize international logistics operations, including exports, imports, container operations, plant logistics, and bulk shipping, while adhering to trade regulations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with logistics providers and suppliers, driving cost efficiency, performance reliability, and long-term partnerships.
  • Harness data analytics to improve supply chain performance, enhance operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Inspire and develop a dynamic logistics team, fostering innovation, accountability, and a commitment to sustainability.
Key Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in global logistics or supply chain leadership, including 5+ years in senior management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex logistics operations, with expertise in compliance, bulk shipping, and operational planning.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic decision-making abilities, with a proven history of optimizing supply chains and delivering impactful results.
  • A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
