Quality Assurance, Risk Management, and Growth Strategy
  1. Drive initiatives to stabilize and expand production with a strong focus on quality assurance, risk management, and CLAAS's digitalization and automation roadmap.
  2. Implement a sustainable growth strategy to solidify CLAAS's long-term presence in China.
Collaboration, Compliance, and Supplier Relations
  1. Collaborate closely with international and local teams, customers, and internal departments to ensure a cohesive workflow.
  2. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and external partners, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations, particularly regarding hazardous materials.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 15 years working in an autonomous management role in industrial production, ideally in machinery or plant engineering, with at least 5 years in an international leadership role, preferably within a matrix organization.
  2. Cultural Integration: Proven ability to act as a "bridge builder" between local Chinese teams and the global matrix leadership, with a focus on personnel and organizational development.
  3. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in modern leadership principles, change management, and navigating complex organizational structures.
  4. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of industrial production, ideally in vehicle or complex machinery manufacturing, with a solid understanding of logistics (SCM networks, SKD/CKD).
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Chinese regulations, especially regarding occupational safety, paired with a strong awareness of local business culture.
  6. Analytical and Organizational Abilities: Proficiency in technical calculations, production tools, and office applications, with a structured, problem-solving mindset and a hands-on approach.
  7. Language Skills: Fluent business-level English and conversational Chinese are required.
  8. Soft Skills: Self-motivated, authentic, empathetic towards employees, skilled in conflict management, and able to prioritize both employee well-being and company success.
