An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV winter Driver to come and join a busy client in the Cheshire area. As a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle Driver, your primary responsibility is to operate a gritting vehicle throughout the winter season. Key duties include maintaining roads on designated routes, completing tasks like vehicle cleaning, refueling, and recording activities accurately.
The main duties of the experienced HGV Winter Driver are:
- Operate a gritting vehicle for the winter season and ensuring road safety.
- Be on standby throughout the winter season, with reliable time management.
- Complete assigned gritting routes and associated tasks, such as vehicle cleaning, refueling, and record-keeping.
- Work collaboratively to ensure the safety in the area network during winter.
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Holds a full UK HGV Class 2 license (Category C) with CPC.
- Winter Maintenance qualification is preferred; training available if needed.
