Your new company
Your new company are a medium-sized construction firm specialising in refurb works. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Working Foreperson with a strong background in joinery to lead their team in the restoration of a fire-damaged residential building. This is a temporary position for 8 weeks, with the potential for future opportunities based on project needs and performance.
Your new role
Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.Coordinate and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople, providing guidance and support as needed.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Perform hands-on joinery work as required, demonstrating expertise and setting a high standard for the team.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Foreperson or similar supervisory role in the construction industry.Strong background in joinery, with the ability to perform and oversee complex joinery tasks.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid CSCS cardSMSTS
