Year 2 Class Teaching Role in Lambeth for January 2025

KS1 Class Teacher JobSalary: £40,609 - £50,288 per annum
Contract: January 2025 to July 2025 (long-term), with potential for a permanent position from September 2025Are you an experienced and dedicated primary teacher with QTS, seeking a new opportunity starting January 2025? This role offers the possibility of becoming permanent from April or September 2025, based on your performance.

Your Role as a Year 2 Class Teacher

  • Create engaging lessons based on planned objectives, ensuring differentiation to support student progression.
  • Collaborate with the parallel teacher for team planning.
  • Set clear targets considering prior attainment.
  • Meeting school and national assessment requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress appropriately.
  • Manage Learning Support Assistants and other classroom helpers.
  • Participate actively in school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading assemblies.

  • QTS status.
  • Experience in UK primary schools, particularly in KS1.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism, with the ability to work to policy and procedure within agreed timescales.
