    Your Role as a Year 2 Class Teacher
  • Create engaging lessons based on planned objectives, ensuring differentiation to support student progression.
  • Collaborate with the parallel teacher for team planning.
  • Set clear targets considering prior attainment.
  • Meeting school and national assessment requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress appropriately.
  • Manage Learning Support Assistants and other classroom helpers.
  • Participate actively in school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading assemblies.

  • What You Need to Succeed in This KS1 Role in Wandsworth
  • QTS status.
  • Experience in UK primary schools, particularly in KS1.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism, with the ability to work with policy and procedure within agreed timescales.
