At Hays, we understand that finding the right role takes careful consideration, and we work for you to find the perfect opportunity. With that in mind, a Year 4 Class teacher is required for a school within the Preston area that Hays have worked with for a number of years. This school is looking to employ someone on a full-time basis and the position will start ASAP through until Christmas. This is an Ofsted rated 'Good' school and is popular within the local community for its dedication to pupil learning and achievement.
Your new role
In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible to your teaching style, making this the perfect role for an ECT/NQT. You will be expected to come in and hit the ground running and really making an impact on the pupils. You will be taking on full class responsibilities, which will include planning and preparing lessons, marking and assessing pupil work and development, as well as managing pupil behaviour. You should be confident in building strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents as communication is key in this role.
If you have experience in other year groups, please do get in touch as we will have other roles that are better suited for you.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children. Subject leadership would be an added benefit in this role, but not essential. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECT's and NQT's are also welcome to apply.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience and the responsibilities of each assignment however you will also have the option to get paid to scale from day one and will be joining a successful team where you will be provided with ongoing training and development.
