Year 7 SEN Class Teacher - ASC

Year 7 ASC and Complex Needs Class Teacher

We are working on behalf of a school which requires a teacher from January 2025 to carry out long-term cover through the spring term through till Easter 2025.
Details are as follows.

Leading a high needs (sensory, complex behaviour) Year 7 Class.

The role is to cover for the spring term till Easter 2025 and would involve

The person concerned must have experience of teaching pupils that have ASC and SEMH and ideally have PRU type experience

The class has 5 pupils and 6 members of staff working with them

The person concerned must have experience of working with this level of complex need and pupils that have impulsive behaviours

The person concerned would ideally have experience of; PECS and ALD's, Intensive Interaction, TEACCH, Trauma-informed
Practice and Team Teach

The class is heavily supported by the TA's and extended and senior leadership, as well as some external agencies

The class works on a very bespoke, individualised approach, that requires a high level of structure and routine
