Job Description

Planet Pharma are working with a prominent biopharmaceutical company that focuses on developing innovative therapies for severe autoimmune diseases. They leverage antibody engineering technologies and collaborate with research experts to create novel treatments

This position will provide support for the IT Laboratory applications and hardware in support of the research and discovery team. This individual will partner with SMEs and various IT team members to provide solutions that support day to day business operations and improve ways of working

The onsite laboratory support engineer is responsible for providing advanced Tier 2-3 IT support and deskside assistance for research and development teams and laboratories using available technical tools. The primary objective is to enable research scientists to achieve their mission by leveraging IT technologies that enhance their work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering strong communication and exceptional customer service.
• Building and maintaining relationships with BIS partners and the end user community.
• Authoring and supporting SOPs, WIs, and validation documentation.
• Providing support for various laboratory instrument applications.
• Demonstrating hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Environmental Monitoring systems, and Quality Management systems.
• Supporting the configuration, administration, and maintenance activities for site quality systems.
• Ensuring operations align with regulatory, corporate, and site requirements.

Requirements:

• 6+ years working either in a biopharmaceutical company or a consulting organization with focus on the life sciences sector.
• 5+ years working in a Laboratory support-oriented role
