About the company

Since 2021, ABEO has been proactively engaged in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with a strategy aligned with its growth objectives and core values.


With the implementation of the CSRD directive in 2024, ABEO is strengthening its CSR framework to meet regulatory and societal expectations. In this context, ABEO is seeking a Group CSR Director who will embody this vision and play a central role in fulfilling ABEO's CSR commitments across all group divisions.


This opportunity arises as a result of positive internal mobility, reflecting the company's commitment to nurturing talent and promoting career development within the organization.


The position offers flexibility in terms of location, with the possibility of being based in France provided the candidate maintains proximity with the teams based in Lyon and abroad.


Reporting Structure

Directly reporting to ABEO's General Management, the Group CSR Director will be a member of the executive committees and serve as the primary point of contact for division leaders.


Main Responsibilities

1. Strategic Reflection and Alignment

  • Develop and update the Group's CSR strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (including CSRD) and ABEO's three pillars of commitment
  • Ensure alignment of the CSR strategy with ABEO's strategic directions as validated by the Executive Committee (ExCom)
  • Collaborate with the Board's CSR Committee to incorporate its recommendations into the overall strategy
  • Act as a strategic liaison with General Management to facilitate the implementation of the CSR strategy


2. Operational Management

  • Co-develop and validate annual and multi-year objectives for the CSR strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Consolidate the CSR roadmap, covering key areas of governance, environment, employees, clients, and communities
  • Operationally lead the CSR program, coordinating with Division Directors and Managing Directors (MDs) for the execution of defined actions
  • Drive and coordinate CSR projects in close collaboration with Support Functions (Procurement, Industry, Human Resources) and operational teams
  • Oversee and support Due Diligence processes for external growth projects, ensuring CSR considerations are integrated both upstream and downstream of these operations


3. Reporting and Traceability

  • Define reporting objectives in line with regulatory requirements (CSRD, DPEF, taxonomy) and the group's strategic needs.
  • Highlight completed and ongoing CSR actions to consolidate ABEO's CSR approach and create a positive momentum.
  • Design and manage CSR reporting processes, including traceability and data collection, in collaboration with the Finance Department.
  • Consolidate and present CSR reports on a regular basis, in accordance with transparency standards.
  • Ensure the production of institutional reports, such as those required for the Non-Financial Performance Statement (DPEF) and European taxonomy.

About You

  • Significant experience in CSR project management in an international context.
  • Strong knowledge of CSR regulations and standards, notably CSRD and other non-financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven expertise in business strategy, team leadership, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Natural leadership to engage stakeholders around the group's CSR values and commitments.
