Job Description

Pareto FM are currently looking for an Account Director to join us on a permanent basis. This is a full-time, UK based role which will look after one of Pareto's major accounts. The client profile is one of the largest online gaming businesses in the world. The role will include management of senior managers and their teams reaching across M&E and TFM and will include occasional travel to Europe.

As an Account Director, you will effectively work with the Associate Director to execute the activities needed to ensure that all accounts are maintained to the highest standards and make sure the properties are able to operate efficiently. We are looking for the most vibrant, exciting, enthusiastic candidate. We want team members to be outgoing, customer focused, always willing to help and always willing to own a problem to completion. The person needs to be a team player, who will always go above and beyond to achieve. They will always say yes and will always support the customer in every action. They will always do what is required to deliver service and will always be the hardest worker in the room.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Be an outward beacon of positivity and be a meaningful representation of Pareto FM.
  • Deliver service excellence to a world-leading organisation across multi-site and pan-European portfolios, including service excellence in the M&E and TFM operating model.
  • Be a leader and always lead by example, exceeding the client's expectations.
  • Deliver a successful operational service across the business' asset portfolio and regional offices, ensuring compliance.
  • Implement effective processes to manage department workflow and measure output.
  • Lead Performance Management activities for all facilities team managers and team members.
  • Develop and manage budgets, planning and forecasting department expenditure, limiting overspend and ensuring full compliance.
  • Manage the relevant client information ensuring compliance audits are conducted regularly, and manage the onboarding of new contractors and suppliers.
  • Explain the purpose and vision of the facilities function in a meaningful and motivating way to the team & wider audience.
  • Be aware of market trends and oversee strategy built on learnings.
  • Identify opportunities and take action to improve performance results.
  • Ensure the business meets statutory HSE compliance and operates best practices, promoting a culture of health, safety, and welfare.
  • Communicate all operational maintenance, projects or incident responses that may impact the business clearly.
  • Spearhead environmental projects and strategies, leading the implementation of sustainability initiatives across the business.
  • Present facilities management reports to stakeholders monthly highlighting key metrics using data analysis.
  • Take ownership for leading through change and adapt plans to changing situations.
  • Embed culture and enthusiasm and a sense of accountability to deliver great performance.
  • Build relationships and networks across and outside the business.
  • This list of duties is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be asked to carry out other duties through discussion with their line manager.

Technical Competencies

  • The candidate must be based within easy reach of Greater London.
  • The candidate must have at least eight to ten years demonstrable FM service delivery experience.
  • The candidate should have a formal IWFM qualification or similar, ideally Level 5 or higher.
  • The candidate should have standard H&S related FM training e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH.
  • The candidate should have general FM training e.g. L8 Awareness, Fire Warden training etc.
  • The candidate should hold membership of the IWFM.

Personal Specification

  • Extensive experience in leadership within a building service environment, successfully managing both directly employed and contractor maintenance staff.
  • Experience in implementing processes ensuring successful maintenance operational delivery.
  • Strong experience in vendor management, onboarding and offboarding, negotiation, and conducting audits.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing substantial and complex budgets.
  • Personal qualities that resonate with the business values - a dedicated professional approach, integrity, and full engagement with colleagues, clients, and teams.
