The role: Account Director/Senior Account Manager
We're looking for an accomplished, astute and dependable PR professional with an interest in businesses in the international travel industry to join our friendly and award-winning team. This is the perfect role for an existing Account Director who would like a change of scene, or a seasoned Senior Account Manager who is ready to take a step up. Either way you will have significant experience in successfully and independently managing multiple client accounts, as well as managing and developing junior team members.
Reporting directly to the MD, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans for global organisations, primarily within the B2B airport and travel retail industries. You will provide counsel on a range of corporate and brand communications issues and ambitions.
International travel to Cannes in October may be required, and there may also be opportunities to travel to other destinations such as Paris or Singapore.

Key responsibilities
- PR strategy - Contributing to the creation of strategic PR plans and programmes for clients
- Client management - Taking a lead on the day-to-day management of 3-7 global client accounts within travel, including devising frameworks for impactful client reporting and evaluation
- ndustry expertise - Delivering sound strategic counsel, demonstrating a good understanding of our clients' businesses and industries, and building trusted client relationships
- Writing - Drafting complex written material for clients such as media briefings, Q&As and thought leadership pieces, and supervising junior team members in the creation of press release and social media content
- Social media - Leading on B2B social media strategy and content creation for clients, as well as influencer activations when required (primarily LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube)
- Team management - Managing the day-to-day work and professional development of junior team members as well as leading by example as one of the most senior members of the team
- Crisis management - providing crisis communications support and consultancy
Experience and skills required
Personal specification - essential:
- 5+ years' PR consultancy experience (preferably UK-based)
- 1+ years' experience working at SAM level or above
- Experience managing multiple client accounts
- Experience taking campaigns from inception to execution
- Strong writing & communication skills Confident and experienced in managing and developing teams
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Enthusiasm to travel for events or client visits, which may involve working outside of traditional hours (such as weekends or bank holidays)
- Interest and belief in the global benefits of the travel industry
Personal specification - desirable:
- Experience in corporate communications, B2B or travel PR
- Working knowledge of and/or degree in foreign languages
- Experience of financial budget management
Salary
£45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
Location
Our office on Eccleston Square, next to London Victoria station. Option to work from home Mondays and Fridays.
