Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a well-known business based in Bedford, as they expand their finance team. This role is perfect for an energetic, driven individual who is confident, proactive, and thrives in a hands-on environment.
The role:

• Oversee daily Accounts Payable tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Utilise accounting software
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements to support informed decision-making.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients to address financial enquiries.

You will need:

• AAT qualification preferable
• Accounts Assistant: 2 years (required)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and databases.
