Accounts Payable Specialist, South Oxfordshire area - In Office

Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable to join a well established automotive organisation in South Oxfordshire. This role is to support the purchase ledger process; ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance to the agreed terms and the companies' assets appropriately controlled.
Your new role

Processing multi-currency invoices

Reconciliation of supplier statements on a monthly basis

Dealing with queries from both internal and external stakeholders

Ensure invoices are approved and matched to purchase orders

Ensuring non-PO invoices have the correct approval

Maintaining invoice reporting as required

Setting up new and updating the records of existing suppliers

Posting general ledger journals

Providing support to the wider finance team, as required.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential to have previous purchase ledger experience or experience in a similar role

Studying AAT Level 3 or QBE

Excellent IT skills; especially in Excel

Previous use of AP functionality in an ERP system is essential.

An appetite to succeed and progress within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
