Your new role
The role of a geography teacher, starting ASAP, potentially until February half-term, involves delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across the age range, fostering a passion for geography and a deep understanding of the subject. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, assessing and monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development. The teacher will also be expected to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, contribute to departmental planning, and participate in wider school activities as needed. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and effective classroom management are essential for this interim position.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, a geography teacher will need strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.
