There is opportunity to join our administrative team at the Nightingale Hospital Exeter, working across the different services located on the site. This includes the following services: Southwest Ambulatory Orthopaedic Centre, Centre of Excellence for Eyes, Rheumatology, the Buttercup Unit, and the Devon Diagnostic Centre.
Main duties of the jobAs a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients stay healthy when they need it most.
Job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the line management of the administrative staff and processes within the Nightingale Hospital Exeter. This is a diverse role which will give exposure to a mixture of line management and operational service management. The role reports to the Administrative Services Manager for the Nightingale Hospital Exeter.
Duties will include oversight and management of departmental rotas, requiring excellent communication and organisation skills and previous experience of managing complex rotas. The individual must be flexible in collaborating with other admin teams who make use of the Nightingale site and be able to support this by visiting and travelling to other hospital sites. They will support with the development, implementation, and following of administrative processes.
You must have the ability to communicate with people calmly, sensitively, and effectively both on the telephone and in person, and across all roles. The Nightingale is unique in its purpose as a system asset, and the role will require someone who can oversee and support staff in managing complex administrative pathways.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, normal working hours, flexible working considered.
