Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team or our Enhanced Access service.
This is a position to work on a Saturday only, within the Enhanced Access clinic.
There is the possibility for additional hours to be offered within Enhanced Access Monday - Friday between the hours of 6.30pm - 8pm.
This role could be based at one of 2 sites, which are
- The Centre Surgery, Hinckley Health Centre, Hill Street, Hinckley, LE10 1DS
- Newbold Verdon Medical Practice, St. George Close, Newbold Verdon, LE9 9PZ
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients' health concerns. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and the ability to administer medications safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Administer medications as required
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner licence in accordance with local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: £62,484.00-£72,865.00 per year
