TechNET-IT is proud to have partnered with a global leader in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector to support their ongoing advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Consultant to join their team on a 6-month contract.
This role is critical in ensuring the ethical, compliant, and effective implementation of AI across the organisation's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Governance Frameworks: Develop, implement, and maintain robust AI governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Policy Development: Define AI-related policies, processes, and guidelines to drive consistent and secure usage across the organisation.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks associated with AI systems, including bias, data privacy, and security vulnerabilities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Data Science, to align AI initiatives with organisational objectives.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Establish mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and reporting of AI system performance and adherence to governance policies.
- Training & Awareness: Educate stakeholders and employees on the importance of AI governance, compliance standards, and ethical considerations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all AI implementations comply with global and local regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and other relevant frameworks.
Key Skills & Experience
- AI Governance Expertise: Proven experience in creating and managing AI governance frameworks in large, complex organisations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy regulations (eg, GDPR) and ethical AI standards.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies in the context of AI technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple business units.
- Technical Understanding: A good grasp of AI/ML technologies and their applications in a corporate setting.
- Project Management: Ability to manage governance-related projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector is highly desirable.
