Application Manager - Advanced (Schwerpunkt: MM/SRM/VIM)

Role: Application Manager (Focus on MM/SRM/VIM)

Duration: 2months (+ possible extension)

Location: Remote, on site in Nuremberg (approx. 20%)

Capacity: 5 days a week

The tasks and activities include:

• The technical operation of the modules SRM, SLC and MM (ECC) as well as the technically error-free integration into the modules PSM, FI and VIM by OpenText in the ECC of the SAP system
• Application support and technical support for all users of the ERP logistics IT process in the operational ordering process and at management level
• Technical and functional enhancements in compliance with the law due to manufacturer updates and functional requirements
• Ensuring the technical basis for the mandatory technology change to S/4HANA (end of maintenance of the old system 12/2027)

The following tasks are to be taken over by the Application Manager - Advanced (focus: MM/SRM/VIM):

Takeover of work packages for the SAP modules VIM/SRM/MM

• in connection with application management
• in connection with the creation of concepts for system development and implementation
• in the context of error management and error analysis
• in the individual test stages and during acceptance
• in connection with the possibility of rebuilding customer developments in SAP standard
• in connection with the assessment of error causes (customer-specific vs. standard) - OSS reporting
• as part of 2nd level support: incident and service request processing
• in connection with RfC processing, technical conception, solution development
• Adaptation of business process models in ARIS/SolMan
• Preparation and follow-up work for patch and Notes imports
• Documentation maintenance, eg target concept, customizing documentation
• Customizing & component testing of SAP modules and portal applications

Special requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of public transport business process understanding for logistics (purchasing and invoice processing)
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules VIM by OpenText incl. X-Invoice and SRM/MM order processing
• In-depth knowledge of professional and technical support and incident management
• In-depth knowledge in the development of training documents, user aids and the creation of training videos in SAP Enable Now (SEN) and standard user aids, especially in S/4HANA
• In-depth knowledge of customizing & component testing of SAP modules MM/SRM and portal applications
