Your new company
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a well established house builder, specialising in developing affordable mixed-tenure homes in communities that people love. They are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to support the Group Design and Technical functions in its day-to-day duties by coordinating the flow of data and information with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Your new role
As an Architectural Technician, you will be required to
- Ensure all drawings, details and third-party information are accurate, commercially suitable, and compliant with current regulations.
- Work with the Group Technical Manager to manage the delivery and maintenance of the Group standard house type portfolio.
- Liaise with regional business units and attend meetings to progress all relevant technical matters.
- Ensure cost-effective design control and buildability.
- Assist the business in achieving BIM Level 2 certification.
What you'll need to succeed
- A background in Architectural Technology.
- Previous experience in the Residential Housing Sector.
- Experience with both Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office programmes.
- Excellent communication skills.
