The Role of the Area Service Manager:

• Managing a territory of Scotland and northern England
• Providing technical support, guidance and advice to electric bus dealerships
• Liaising with internal stakeholders with any quality issues within the Technical, Service, and Body Building teams
• Assist with trials, vehicle investigations and fault diagnosis
• Collect details on Vehicle Off Road (VOR) issues
• Spotting opportunities for training and business growth
• The size of the territory will require overnights and time away from home

The Candidate for the Area Service Manager:

• Existing knowledge of the coach and bus sectors (preferable), or other large vehicles such as HGV, plant, etc.
• Experience with vehicle electronics and diagnostics.
• A HNC (or above/equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Proactive and able to plan own diary and workload
• Full UK drivers' licence.

The Package for the Area Service Manager:

• £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• 5% company bonus
