Asset Management Project Senior Business Lead - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £43,847 Per Annum + Benefits.

The role - Asset Management Project Senior Business Lead

As the Asset Management Project Senior Business Lead you will be working within the Asset Management System Project Team to develop Asset Surveys, Hazards, Decent Homes, Energy Efficiency and forecasting on Microsoft Dynamics 365. We are already live with mastering Assets, related attributes, Compliance processes and components that are serviced, and this is an exciting opportunity to shape the design of Asset Intelligence features without the restraints found in existing Asset Systems.

What you'll do

  • Be the projects' business representative on all things Asset Intelligence ensuring the requirements are fit for purpose and that Origin will meet its statutory and reporting obligations.
  • Be involved in designing the data model collaboratively with the project team, ensuring data can be mapped from the legacy system over, that data is accessible in a way that makes sense to the business and is reportable.
  • Attend project standups, collaboration sessions and proactively feedback into the project after each build sprint. The project team are great at what they do, but they aren't Asset Management experts, so we need your input at every stage!
  • Have autonomy to make decisions on design and priorities on behalf of the business.
  • Keep abreast and interpret any changes in government legislative requirements regarding building safety and all things asset management.

What you'll need

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A solid Asset Management background with a thorough understanding of Asset Surveys, Hazards, Decent Homes, Energy Efficiency & Forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills. You will be representing the business and providing the project team with requirements, giving feedback on the system build and be able to articulate all requirements.
  • Decision making ability, you'll be expected to know the subject matter in detail and be able to make decisions quickly.
  • Involvement in Asset system migration projects, you will be working with the integration engineer on mapping data between the two systems and any other source locations i.e. spreadsheets so will need an eye for detail and be able to think outside the box.
