Assistant Accountant

Progressive Opportunity for a Finance Professional Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid Working Fife

Hays are pleased to be working in partnership with one of our notable clients in Fife to support in their requirement for an Assistant Accountant to join the existing finance team on a full time permanent basis. This role will working closely with the wider finance team, holding people management responsibilities, operating with hybrid working arrangements.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be taking a proactive lead in liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide analysis and review of funding, including the management of these processes and supporting to meet deadlines in a timely manner. This role will be heavily focused on consistent and strong communication with all relevant parties, across internal and external contacts; building and maintaining these relationships throughout each process. As part of your daily duties, you will be supporting a small finance team who will oversee the daily processing of funding applications, so a willingness to review and support as part of this process is key.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be a motivated professional who is actively looking to apply their skills within core accounting into a new and exciting specialist area of finance that involves dealing with several internal and external stakeholders on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This role will suit someone who can demonstrate previous experience working as part of a wider team and meeting strict deadlines. You will be interested in securing a permanent full time role that consistently adopts positive change and process improvements to further their financial capabilities.
