Assistant Manager EU Taxonomy Competence Centre
Posted 3 days 8 hours ago by KPMG
As Assistant Manager in the accounting advisory service team (CMAAS), your learning curve is about to explode! CMAAS is a specialized department that advises clients on complex accounting and reporting matters, including the recent requirements of, amongst others, the EU Taxonomy.
The Competence Center EU Taxonomy is in the process of being setup and your role will be a unique one. Most important to know is that in this Assistant Manager role you will get trained as subject matter expert on the EU Taxonomy. In the first and last quarter of the year you will mainly provide assistance to audit teams, while in the remainder of the year you will not have a full schedule. This is an opportunity to shape the role with additional scope and to work on advisory engagements as well. As in the near future all large companies will have to report in line with the EU Taxonomy there are potentially many very interesting clients and engagements coming your way!
The combination of audit assist and advisory work will allow you to work with many different professionals with KPMG The Netherlands and abroad, as the work often requires to share experiences and knowledge with other KPMG firms. There is a lot of opportunity to boost your skills, knowledge and network, as well as opportunities to work on broader sustainability reporting engagements in the future.
Please be prepared for an environment in which on one hand you get every support available to help you grow, and on the other hand also challenges you to live up to the high standards in terms of quality, agility and flexibility that our organization and clients ask from us. There are many opportunities for you to help shape the team and structure of the Competence Center, as well as making next steps in your career at KPMG.
The office in Amstelveen is our CMAAS headquarters in the Netherlands, but we are also located in the Rotterdam and Eindhoven offices. Not near those locations? We have a hybrid way of working, within our own team and with our clients, so a lot is possible. Does this appeal to you? Then apply now
