You have

  1. Master's degree in economics or a closely-related quantitative discipline from a leading university.
  2. 2-6 years of experience working as an economist/macro researcher in the financial services industry and/or public sector, which includes quantitative economic analysis, report-writing and presenting analysis to larger audiences.
  3. Intuitive understanding of macroeconomics, and a keen personal interest in global economic developments, geopolitical issues and financial markets.
  4. Strong Excel and coding skills (R and/or Python); proven track record in using R and/or Python to conduct econometric analysis, visualize data and build forecasting models.
  5. Excellent written English and strong communication skills, including the ability to explain economic concepts and quantitative results, as well as their implications, to non-specialists.
  6. Proficiency in other European languages (especially German, Italian and/or Spanish).
  7. Ability to sieve through, synthesize and present complex information and ideas.
  8. Attention to detail and a commitment to going the extra mile to produce rigorous, accurate work, within the constraints of the time and resources available.
  9. Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously as well as a team-player.
