Azure Cloud Solution Architect DevOps

Azure Cloud Solution Architect DevOps, Migration/Transformation from JEE Applications to Azure - German language native/fluent, ideally Bern 2 days/week, up to 160k CHF.

Preferred permanent but can be a contract/freelance job to start (6-12 months) but with an understanding that eventually this job is a full time permanent job.

Project Overview:
This is a greenfield project aimed at migrating large-scale JEE applications (approximately 80-100) to Azure Cloud. We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect who can provide technical leadership and coordinate this transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Vision: Own the roadmap for the migration and help the team understand and engage in the journey.
- Leadership: Lead, guide, and drive the transformation process, ensuring the team is aligned and motivated.
- Technical Development: Design and develop future cloud architecture by transitioning existing JEE Java applications into cloud-native solutions or suitable containerized options.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and operations teams to facilitate a smooth cloud migration.

Technology Selection: Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to ensure long-term scalability and flexibility.
