Job Description
Company profile
Collabhouse was born out of a deep passion for music and technology. Our mission is to support musicians with advanced tools for distribution and promotion. From licensing music for games and marketing to connecting artists with influencers and creating NFTs for music royalties, we offer a wide range of solutions that push the industry forward.
Working with us means joining a dynamic, creative environment where innovation is at the core of everything we do. Our diverse team includes both specialists and musicians, all united by the goal of helping artists reach their full potential without worrying about the business side. Transparency and collaboration are key to our approach, supported by agile methodologies like Scrum and daily stand-ups.
We empower creators with four powerful services under one roof:
Collab Market - a marketplace where Music Makers and influencers collaborate to
promote music on social media
Music Library - a marketplace that facilitates Music Makers to direct offer and sell
sync licenses to their music to Content Creators
NFT Market - a marketplace that enables Music Makers to directly engage their fans
by allowing them to invest in their music through owning royalty split NFTs
Role description
As a Backend DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our artist tools. You will work closely with everyone involved to develop new product features and implement technical improvements. Our backend application was recently built using Nest.js, and your expertise will be crucial in further optimizing and integrating it with our other tools. Your work will be 80% focused on development and 20% on cloud and DevOps responsibilities. You will play a key role in both building and scaling our platform, working on critical features that empower artists.
Here's what you'll be working on:
Managing, monitoring, and scaling our AWS infrastructure: You'll ensure that our platform is robust, reliable, and scalable, providing the foundation for smooth user experiences as our platform grows.
Enhancing our AppSync-based API: You'll optimize our API to facilitate efficient data access and structural migration, making it easier for our full-stack developers to build new features and improve functionality.
Designing and building pipelines to augment our music library: By leveraging data from GraphQL and REST APIs, you will enable seamless integration and expansion of our growing library, allowing artists to distribute their work more efficiently.
Upholding a deep understanding of cloud-based, serverless architecture: You'll ensure that our platform leverages modern, scalable solutions to meet the needs of artists worldwide, focusing on security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Integrating external APIs: You'll connect our platform to external services, expanding our ecosystem and enhancing the capabilities we offer to musicians.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript with Node.JS
Proficiency with AWS services, with a focus on IAM, Lambda, Cognito, S3, Elastic, RDS, and SNS.
Deep comprehension of cloud-based serverless architecture.
Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs design and implementation.
Self-motivated developer who enjoys teamwork
Strong collaboration skills
Passion for technology and attention to detail in solving complex problems
Experience or affinity with the music industry is a plus
Working Conditions
Flexible remote work policy: 2 days at the office, 3 days remote per week, with the freedom to come to the office more often if desired
A salary that can go up to €85k based on your experience and skills
Opportunities to participate in seminars, team outings, and sports events
Monthly events and a vibrant work environment where colleagues regularly have lunch, coffee, or drinks together
A great opportunity to grow with a start-up
