Job DescriptionBand 6 Speech and Language TherapistSalary: Up to £50,000 (pro-rata)Our client is seeking a skilled Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join their rehabilitation service in Birmingham, offering flexible hours within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment. This specialist centre works with individuals recovering from severe brain injuries, providing tailored rehabilitation focused on restoring independence and enhancing quality of life with dignity and respect.The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications: A degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the HCPC.
- Dysphagia Competencies: Recognized dysphagia competencies with the ability to manage complex cases in adult neurology.
- Specialised Knowledge: Expertise in Speech and Language therapy models and interventions related to ABI, including cognitive communication, social communication, and partner training.
- Experience: Experienced in managing complex cases, particularly within an adult neurology setting.
