BMW UK, Financial Services, Farnborough - Corporate Governance and CEO Support - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)

BMW Group Financial Services is a provider of vehicle finance and leasing to retail and corporate customers throughout the UK.

The Corporate Governance function is part of the CEO's office and is responsible for the overall decision making and policy framework at BMW Group Financial Services in the UK and Ireland. This includes running Management Committee meetings where key business decisions are made.

The Corporate Governance and CEO support intern is responsible for supporting the Corporate Governance and CEO office team with various tasks associated with governance, policy management and CEO support activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support in drafting the agenda for monthly Management Committee meetings for the UK and Ireland; documenting and following up action points with senior management and writing draft minutes in advance of the meeting.
  • Assist in maintaining policy framework within UK and Ireland; monitoring and control of new and overdue policies; reviewing new BMW Group and Divisional policies; publication of approved policies.
  • Supporting oversight and monitoring of internal service level agreements and tracking of internal audit points.
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks within the Corporate Governance and CEO office teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Studying for a relevant degree (e.g. Business Management or similar) and in line to achieve a 2:2 or above.
  • Well-organised and able to work independently.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Communicates effectively and proactively.
  • Experience of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint software.
