Job Description

An SME Professional Services business with offices in South West London is looking to hire an experienced and hands-on Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis. This role is working 5 days per week in the office. Reporting to the Directors the Bookkeeper will:

Duties of the Bookkeeper Role:

  • Oversee the company's transactional accounting duties including Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Credit Control
  • Perform VAT returns and answer any VAT queries.
  • Input and perform Payroll duties for 20 staff
  • Produce any ad-hoc financial reports to help Directors make sound financial decisions
  • Assist with any administration duties when required.

Requirements of the Bookkeeper Role:

  • Excellent experience in transactional accounting
  • Strong VAT knowledge
  • Needs to be happy to help with administration tasks and work in an office 5 days per week
  • Must possess strong communication skills.
