You'll support some of our largest offshore renewable clients from around the world.

The role sits within the Global Broking Centre (GBC) in London. The GBC is an integral part of Aon's global broking strategy. The GBC provides colleagues across the Aon network access to specialist brokers and client managers, dedicated client solutions and thought leadership, and significant global insurance capacity. The GBC works with network colleagues to deliver market-leading solutions to Aon clients, creating a competitive advantage in our placement strategies worldwide.

What the day will look like:

• Client management and broking, serving a worldwide portfolio of clients produced on a wholesale and retail basis, including both renewals and new business.
• Leading impactful renewal strategy meetings (RSMs) and delivering London market insurer roadshows.
• Leading reviews of clients risks and preparation of underwriting presentations.
• Proactively contributing to the portfolio's growth, developing new relationships, pitching to clients, and leading winning tenders.
• Managing market relationships, developing new ones in support of the Natural Resources broking strategy.
• Working closely with Natural Resources clients to ensure global best practice is achieved.
• Opportunity for travel, including prospecting and representing Aon by speaking at conferences.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

• 5+ years of London market experience broking renewables, construction, power, energy, mining, or property.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and experience in layering complex programmes.
• Strong lead/decision-maker underwriter relationships in renewables, energy, and property.
• Outstanding collaboration skills to successfully lead the pursuit of target prospects.
• Masterful relationship-building skills.
• Unparalleled presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex messages in written form.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
• Exceptional IT skills/capabilities across Microsoft Office.
• Being proactive, entrepreneurial, and forward-thinking.
• Excellent understanding of compliance and FCA regulation.
