About theRole
We're looking for apassionate leader to join us at our SkegnessResort as part of our Buffets department as a VenueManager.
Asa Venue Manager, you'll be vital in helping our guest's createsmiles - getting stuck in to give them a great dining experience!You'll be part of a big team of people who are responsible forproviding our guests with breakfast and dinner in our self servicerestaurants each day of their holiday.
Youshould enjoy developing people and be passionate about deliveringexceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training andcoaching the team in a fun-filledenvironment.
You will drive standards and havethe ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brandstandards and Butlin's way of working.
Reportingto the Senior Manager, you'll enjoy the buzz of a busy environmentand will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene andcleanliness.
You'll havethe ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guestobsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do. The rolewill also involve analysing KPI's, facilitating and monitoring allteam training and adhering to food safety and health & safetypolicies.
You should have a realpassion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliverexperiences that truly delight our guests. You should be anadvocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that you arehaving regular 121's and PDP discussions to support theirdevelopment and career with Butlin's.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day willbe the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet,getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is alwaysyour number one priority.
Typical working hourscover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 with a variety of shiftsbetween 7am - 9pm with support across the wider department at timesand will including weekend, bank holidays and Christmasworking.

We are looking for an individualwith prior experience in a volume catering and/ or food environment, where a balance of speed and quality isimportant. Strong experience of being guest and customer-facing anddealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directlyis essential.
You should bepassionate about leading and developing a team and supportingpeople through regular 121's andcoaching.
Delivering an amazing experienceto our guests is the most important part of this role so you shouldbe passionate about every interaction and should seek opportunitiesto improve this wherever possible.
Youshould have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guestvolumes, experience in working with multi-skilled team to supportother areas of the business based on guest demand. You should beable to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, toinclude proficiency in managing performance, coaching team,delivering team training, setting standards and role modelling thisbehaviour, problem solving & feedback and able to managemultiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changingrequirements.
