As Business Development Director Telco, Media & Tech - TMT (f/m/x) in Germany, you are a strategically-minded hunter who develops new business opportunities in the telecommunications industry in a targeted manner. With your deep understanding of the industry and a strong network, you identify potential at an early stage and develop customised solutions that offer our customers real added value.

Thanks to your many years of sales experience with a strong focus on service and customer benefits, you not only recognise opportunities at an early stage, but also implement them successfully. Working closely with Consulting, Pre-Sales and Delivery, you will manage the entire sales cycle - from initial contact to contract conclusion - and play a key role in driving our customers' digital transformation.

This is you

  • You have a strong network in the telecommunications industry, complemented by contacts in media, IT, and consumer electronics.
  • You proactively approach new clients, accurately identifying their challenges, and remain motivated even in the face of setbacks.
  • You have a knack for selling IT services, are tech-savvy, and understand the importance of delighting customers with service-oriented solutions. You are also well-versed in nearshore models.
  • You are empathetic, open-minded, and present yourself confidently.
  • You work independently, are flexible, and think outside the box.
  • You have experience with tenders and negotiating with buying centers.
  • You speak fluent German and English at a business level.

This is your role

  • Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Together with your colleagues, you will expand our business activities in the DACH market by inspiring new clients in the Telco, Media & Tech environment with our portfolio.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products etc.
  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business for the new clients.
