Business Development Manager - Smart Buildings

A Business Development Manager specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS) is needed to support the expansion of a company in London and the South East. The role focuses on decarbonizing buildings and creating strategic business partnerships.

We're supporting one of the largest building controls companies in the UK, renowned for its sustainability credentials; and enjoy strategic relationships with leading technology companies.

The business helps achieve optimised working environments leading to reductions in buildings' energy consumption through the installation and maintenance of a variety of building control technologies, including Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), and the application of data analytics to provide building performance insights.

In addition to building control technologies, they deploy smart energy infrastructure solutions including: solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote advanced BMS solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
• Establish strategic partnerships in commercial real estate, property management, and facility management sectors.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Building Control Systems.
• Strong skills in a client-facing environment.
• A valid driving license (required due to travel needs).
