With a competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages; Redstone Commodity Search can confidently offer you an edge in today's volatile market. Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Metal Trading House (Secondary Metal Products) looking to onboard a CEO to join their team in Luxemborg. Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Board to develop the company's long-term vision, translate strategy into actionable plans, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, making high-level decisions that support operational efficiency and quality improvements, driving the organisation's growth and success.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders; serve as the primary contact for the Board and shareholders.
  • Resource Management: Optimise financial, human, and technical resources to ensure the company's sustainability, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and aligning resources with strategic needs.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify and manage business risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and uphold standards for ethics, corporate social responsibility, and workplace safety.
Key Qualifications / Experience
  • Leadership Expertise: Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the Metal Trading Industry, specifically alloys, recycled metals, secondary products.
  • Strategic Vision: 10+ years in executive management with a strong track record of setting and achieving long-term business objectives.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial sustainability, with an understanding of economic principles and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in managing relationships with the Board, shareholders, and external partners, with an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Operational Expertise: Experience overseeing multifaceted operations, including quality improvement, resource allocation, and policy compliance.
