As a Chef De Partie you will join a committed culinary team driven with the intent of delivering 'FIVE-star' guest experiences to an international diaspora.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none, and you enjoy developing solutions that push groundbreaking boundaries.

You'll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Report to work on time and check schedule the day before
  • Prepare the daily mis-en-place, cook, and serve all recipe dishes from section according to brand standards
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions
  • Minimize wastage through correct preparation levels, stock control and portioning
  • Clearly communicate any issues impacting their section / food quality
  • Report any defect in equipment immediately to the chef in charge
  • Maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the day-to-day operation is smooth
  • Attend training sessions whether internal or external when required
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues and guests
  • Control food stock of designed section
  • Report any problem or complaint related to colleagues or guest to the chef in-charge
  • Coordinate daily tasks with Kitchen-in-charge
  • Carries out any reasonable instruction / duties as directed
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Supervise the Commis and Demis working in the section assigned
  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques
  • Instruct and lead subordinates through their daily requirements in food preparation and actively take part in the setup of buffets and special functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Chef

What We're Looking For
  • A Chef De Partie who has worked in, and understands, high volume operations. Someone who is always a step ahead and is a passionate innovator while being a true culinary enthusiast
  • Must have the ability to manage and build a team that leaves a mark on every dish that is served
  • Expresses the FIVE Vibe by delivering exquisite culinary experiences
  • Demonstrates great dedication, has high energy, and contributes with enthusiasm
  • Must be willing to ride the journey of creating a successful FIVE brand
  • An active learner with an open mind that embraces change, is always solution driven and an ideation expert
  • Previous relevant serving experience in Hot and/or Cold kitchen
  • Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations
