About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key business partner to the CEO, playing a critical role in driving financial strategy, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring the financial health of the organisation as we scale. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth SaaS businesses, particularly at the Series A or Series B stage, and will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What we would like to see in you!

Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute the company's financial strategy to support rapid growth.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to inform key business decisions, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, delivering robust forecasts, budgets, and scenario planning.

Fundraising and Investor Relations:

• Lead and manage the company's fundraising efforts, including preparing for Series B and subsequent rounds.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Prepare detailed financial models, pitch decks, and presentations for investors, demonstrating a clear path to growth and value creation.

Financial Operations and Risk Management:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, and tax compliance.
• Implement financial controls and risk management strategies to protect the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Optimise working capital and cash flow management to support business operations and growth initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Scaling the Business:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and prioritise growth opportunities, such as new product development or market expansion.
• Evaluate and recommend strategies for managing costs while scaling operations effectively.
• Lead financial due diligence for any potential acquisitions or partnerships.

Team Leadership:

• Build and develop the finance team, ensuring the team is equipped to support the company's evolving needs.
• Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability within the finance department.
