The Purpose:

As Chief of Staff, you will be a key driver of our company's success, working as an extension of the CEO and playing a pivotal role in aligning strategy with execution. This role will position you at the heart of our business, offering access to a wide range of operational and strategic projects while collaborating across business units and supporting interactions with the Exec, Senior Leadership Team, the board, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

CEO, Execs & SLT Alignment:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and key liaison between the CEO, exec team and the SLT, ensuring strong alignment, continuous feedback, and actionable insights.
  • Keep the CEO updated on critical developments and progress across all business units.
  • Research and prepare presentation decks, research, and other materials on strategic priorities for meetings and events. Plus support preparation for internal and external events on behalf of the CEO.
  • Partner with the SLT to identify, prioritise, and implement initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and drive the company's strategic direction.
  • Drive CEO-sponsored strategic projects, from initial design to execution.
  • Ensure alignment, execution, accountability and progress of organisational OKRs and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Manage the delivery of critical strategic initiatives, focusing on seamless cross-functional collaboration, performance tracking, and achieving key milestones.

Operational Excellence:

  • Act as an operational expert by proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges across the business.
  • Optimise business processes and organisational structures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Finance to ensure operational expenditures and headcount align with long-term profitability goals and prepare board reports, focusing on budget performance and critical strategic initiatives.

Growth & Scalability:

  • Play a defining role in scaling the organisation, driving projects and initiatives that enable sustainable growth.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to enhance overall business performance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 10+ years experience, ideally within a high-growth fintech/payments business or strategy consulting.
  • Leadership Qualities: A trusted leader and advisor who can influence outcomes, foster collaboration, and drive alignment.
  • Bias for Action: A results-driven individual with a proven ability to execute quickly and effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive and innovative thinker who thrives in dynamic environments.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with a track record of transforming data and reports into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
