Class 2 HGV Delivery Drivers

Job Description Driver Hire Torbay is seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 driver on behalf of our client. This role focuses on providing top-notch service and ensuring safe, timely deliveries to our customers.

Location South Devon. The position requires regular commutes to their premises on the Heathfield Industrial Estate.

Salary £32,868 per annum, plus potential monthly bonuses based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely completion of daily deliveries.
Maintain vehicle safety and ensure loads are secure.
Manage delivery documentation with high accuracy.
Collect payments and handle securely according to company policy.
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and maintain a clean vehicle.
Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager.
Support warehouse operations, including picking and loading tasks.

Qualifications

Essential: Valid Category C driving license, ability to lift and manoeuvre goods frequently, and reliable personal transportation.
Desirable: Experience in logistics or transportation; familiarity with the South Devon area.
