Client Service Administrator - Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB)

We are recruiting a Client Service Administrator to join our Glasgow team. This part of the business is responsible for advising corporate clients on all aspects of the insured benefits relating to Pensions, Group Income Protection, Group Life Assurance and Critical Illness.

Based in our Glasgow office you will deliver superior analytical and consulting support to consulting teams and clients in a timely manner in line with MMB's target operating model.

You will also provide technical support to clients and colleagues.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
  1. Have ongoing communication with clients, colleagues and providers
  2. Accurate and timely completion and maintenance of MMB's systems to achieve set targets
  3. Ownership of delivery of tasks and proactively manage own workload
  4. Partner with internal/ external stakeholders to achieve best service for client
  5. Dealing with client and member queries (verbal and written), with support as appropriate in line with service level agreements to ensure timely client delivery
  6. Ensure quality of own work through right first time approach
  7. Champion continuous improvement within your team/location
  8. Develop and maintain appropriate technical and market knowledge
  9. Support revenue reporting activity as appropriate
  10. Quality checking of colleagues work to ensure accuracy
  11. Attend client meetings as required
  12. Manage client relationships to support retention & growth
  13. Training and technical referral for colleagues
What you need to have:
  1. Previous Employee Benefits or Financial Services based experience
  2. Strong background in Administration in a customer focused role
  3. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  4. Proven ability to work on own and as a team player, establishing good rapport with clients and colleagues
  5. Excellent time management and planning/organisational skills, ability to work to deadlines
