The Opportunity:
As the Change Communication Lead, you will ensure change management practices with a particular focus on Communication. You will provide necessary professional resources and support in the execution of various transformation programs. Your role is critical for ensuring comprehensive change management is utilized across the scope and scale of Astellas' digital transformation, including the transition to agile operating principles and the implementation of the Brands at the Center model.
You will partner directly with projects and program team members, integrating to lead and/or support their change program including communications, timelines, and other necessary steps. By leveraging best practices and expertise in communication, you will be able to seamlessly plan and deliver impactful communication to drive high adoption and implementation results across multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a communication strategy and plan to drive engagement and adoption.
- Accountable to consult, prepare, and execute actionable deliverables for communication.
- Accountable to provide and execute relevant key messages tailored to the respective audiences.
- Accountable in preparing and executing change management plans for the different initiatives/capabilities.
- Accountable to define, in partnership with the project leads, for the ultimate adoption program by providing in-depth change management expertise and direction.
- Manage relationships and governance with affiliates stakeholders and leaders to ensure we are continually listening to and aligning with the voice of the business.
- Responsible for defining and measuring success metrics, monitoring change process, identifying adoption measurement metrics, reporting to the project team and adjusting if necessary.
- Develop and run best practices forums to support building transformational capabilities, ensuring adoption and best-in-class performance.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and/or multinational corporations with global operations and local footprint, with a mixture of local affiliate and above-country experience.
- Solid experience in change management, communication, and adoption (including rollout and execution of change activities)
- Experience leading project-based initiatives and managing multiple initiatives at once with varying levels of complexity and maturity.
- Significant commercial business experience ideally including customer engagement and omnichannel strategy.
- Communication and presentation skills including the ability to influence and manage senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships with team members, management, and internal/external partners.
- Must have conversational and business English.
Preferred Experience:
- Significant digital transformation and adoption experience.
- Experience with pharma industry content forums, innovations including Generative AI, or other content-rich experiences including franchise content operations.
- Multiple experiences across geographies within cross-continent organizations (e.g., Americas, Europe, and Japan).
- Experience in change management and driving adoption or equivalent.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- Position is based in Addlestone, UK.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per month in our Addlestone office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office
