About the Role:

My client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the construction execution of a major pharmaceutical project in Brussels. This role involves on-site supervision, contractor coordination, and compliance management within a live operational pharma environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in brownfield construction, live environment and the ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Leadership: Oversee all construction activities, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
• Contractor Coordination: Manage and supervise multiple subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and on time.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce site safety protocols and adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, EU).
• Schedule & Budget Management: Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, adjusting plans as needed.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with project teams, engineers, and client representatives to align construction efforts with overall project goals.
• Issue Resolution: Address on-site challenges promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Management within pharmaceutical or industrial settings.
• Expertise in brownfield construction and working within live operational sites.
• Strong ability to manage contractors, schedules, and compliance standards.
• Full work authorization for Belgium.
• Able to work 5-days on site
