Main duties of the jobThe post holder will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will need to be a born leader and a people person who loves to collaborate and innovate. You need to be MRC psych or equivalent with full registration, licensed and specialist registered or within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the Advisory Appointment Committee. The ability to travel to all locations within the Trust is essential.

Person Specification Qualifications/Registration- Full GMC Registration
- On specialist Registration CCT in General Adult
- Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act
- Additional Postgraduate Qualifications
- Publication of original research
- Management training
- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
- Demonstrate commitment to shared leadership & collaborative working to deliver improvement
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a MDT
- Able to form a good working relationship with the peer group
- Willingness to undertake training and CPD in areas appropriate to this post
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to participate in in-house training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of the ability to communicate with patients, colleagues and staff at all levels.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences including courts and tribunals
- To balance individual requirements against those of the Directorate and Trust as a whole.
- An understanding of the political and financial framework within which the Services operate
- Post holder will need to take initiative and work in a self-directed manner
- Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service
- Able to plan and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training relevant to this post
- Experienced in clinical research and / or service evaluation
